OPEN HOUSE 2019

On 12th September the nuIT GmbH and the Metaflex GmbH opened their doors for customers from all around the world. The reason for that was their first Open House event ever. In cooperation with Thalmann AG and the CIDAN Machinery Group, consisting of nuIT GmbH, Forstner Coil Processing GmbH and CIDAN Machinery, the world's first fully automatic and flexible production line for metal trims worldwide was presented - The BASE (Bending and Slitting Engine).

The BASE itself is a smart combination of the best standard machines on the market:

• Forstner PSM (programmable slitting machine)
• CIDAN Handling System (portal system for moving cut parts)
• Thalmann TD Double Folder

Together with the nuIT Software it can increase a metal shop's efficiency in a never seen way.

A total of 100 visitors from 11 different countries could be part of this world premiere and see the production line in action.
